About stumble!to
stumble!to started as an experiment to see what happens if you tie online presence to real-world objects. We started with a simple setup that watches for wifi devices (phones, laptops, etc.) and automatically checks people into Foursquare when they walk through the door at Metrix Create Space in Seattle, WA.
We're now working on expanding the system to support other types of devices (such as Nike+ shoe sensors), and making it easy for any business deploy stumble!to. If you are interested in deploying, see here.
stumble!to was created by Eric Butler and Ian Gallagher. Special thanks to Casey Halverson, Andrew Filer and everyone at Metrix Create Space.
